Contribution helps strengthen programs and services at the Phelps County Senior Center

Holdrege, Nebraska – energyRe, a leading developer of reliable and affordable energy solutions, today announced a $5,000 donation to the Phelps County Senior Center, reinforcing the company’s commitment to supporting organizations that serve older adults and help residents remain active, connected, and independent.

The Phelps County Senior Center has served Holdrege and Phelps County since 1974 and provides services that help older adults remain in their own homes for as long as possible. Public-facing materials describe transportation and other support services that help seniors maintain independence and stay connected to healthcare, errands, and community life.

“This support helps us continue providing important services that make a real difference in the daily lives of older adults across Phelps County,” said Denise Smith, Executive Director of the Phelps County Senior Center. “We are grateful to energyRe for investing in our work and in the seniors we are honored to serve.”

The donation will help strengthen the Senior Center’s ongoing efforts to meet practical needs, reduce isolation, and support the dignity and independence of local residents as they age.

“Organizations like the Phelps County Senior Center provide steady, practical support that helps people live with greater independence and connection,” said Patrick Moore, Development and Community Partnerships Manager at energyRe. “energyRe is proud to support the Center and the important work it does for seniors and families across the county.”

Through this gift, energyRe is helping support a trusted local resource that improves quality of life for older adults in Phelps County.
