The project is sited entirely on private land, with clear commitments to local landowners and the surrounding ranching and agricultural community.

Mutual Solar will strictly adhere to all local ordinance requirements, including setbacks, fencing and adequacy of vegetative buffering and screening.
No Risk to Groundwater
Solar projects pose no risk of groundwater contamination, and because solar is a fuel-free resource, there will be no air emissions. Full decommissioning ensures the land can be used for agriculture after the project at the end of its useful life. In fact, soil health is often much better on former solar land because of less stress on the soil year after year.
Decommissioning
When the project is ready to be shut down, the panels are removed at no cost to the taxpayer or county government. The cost of removal is insured by the company and the land is immediately suitable for farming. Oklahoma’s decommissioning requirements ensure the project site is fully restored within six months of end of life, with financial assurance in place to cover all removal and reclamation costs.
